“If that’s the case, I’ll be on my way,” he said, getting up.
He quietly glanced at Sheelah, who couldn’t stop staring at him even as he walked out.
“So, what brings you here?” I asked, staring at Sheelah, who walked cautiously towards me.
She sat on the table before me, carefully opening her legs, revealing her lacy panties.
“Don’t you miss me?” she asked, playing with her hair like a child.
“Why are you here, Sheela p>
“I understand that you don’t want me here, and that you’re going through a difficult time, but even in the midst of everything, you need me. Having me around will help you think more clearly,” she replied, looking skeptical.
“If I were you, I would slowly walk out of here and save what little pride I have left,” he said.
Adrian’s POV
I went to Christian to actually tell him about the atrocities committed five years ago, but I hesitated when I felt someone approaching the door. I didn’t need anyone to tell me it was Sheelah.
Luna Vivienne was here too, so she was definitely the next one to enter. I would be able to get what I wanted with this.
She would think I came to confess to Christian, but the reality was different. What I wanted was not an apology, but her. And I would have her. If I’m going down, it will never be alone. I no longer have Christian’s favor since I tried to lay with Amira, but if I can’t have Amira, at least I’ll have Sheelah.
“Adrian,” Luna Vivienne called, making me roll my eyes. I had a sly smile on my face as I turned to face her.
“Yes, Luna,” I replied, still holding my smile.

“What were you doing there? What did you discuss with him?” she asked, her voice laced with anxiety.
“Well… Christian is my friend, and I couldn’t help but tell him what’s been bothering me,” I answered casually.
“And what could that be?” she asked, swallowing hard.
“What do you think it could be? Is it about five years ago p>
“What are you talking about?” she asked, raising her voice slightly, but quickly lowering it as she glanced around with caution.
“Don’t panic, Luna. I only expressed my concern. I’m still with you, though I don’t know how long that will last,” I said with a smile before walking away.
“What are you up to?” she asked, but I chose to ignore her.
Sheela’s POV
I walked out of Christian’s room angrily. What I came here for didn’t work out, but at least I was able to stop something disastrous from happening.
I was in my room, about to curl up and sleep, when Vivienne rushed in, telling me to follow her and see if I could seduce her depressed son. According to her, men are most vulnerable when they’re depressed, and this was the best time to get to him.
