How long would I keep this feeling bottled up? I’m not sure I can do this anymore. I’d rather forfeit the help Mr. Mico offered and get back together with Amira than watch her marry his son.
She is literally my first love, and I don’t want to lose her for anything.
I’m lucky to have seen her again, as the moon goddess granted it, and I won’t let it slip away just like that.
As for me, I’ll make sure to utilize this opportunity well. I will make her mine while she works on my company, and in the end, I’ll be the one who gets the last smile.
Tristan’s POV
We were all seated at the dining table, but the tension between everyone else was something I couldn’t ignore. It felt like I was the only outcast at the table, but I had to act neutral. This might be happening because it’s the first time I’m having dinner in the Moonlight pack.
“Do you like the food?” Luna Vivienne asked, smiling.
“Yes, I do. It tastes good.” I replied, returning the smile. But the other woman, who was introduced as Christian’s wife and the future Luna, kept glaring at Emily. I’m sure she sees her as a threat. Any woman would. Emily possesses the beauty of all women, so I understand her feelings.
“I was surprised when I saw your wife-to-be here this evening. I had no idea you would let her come here after the claims we made when we first saw her,” she said, playing with her cutlery.
“I felt that had been settled when you came. She doesn’t know who you’re talking about, and she took no offense when you called her names back then,” I said, putting down my cutlery.
“They actually look so much alike, even some of our maids can attest to that fact. But then, how is Mr. Mico?” she asked.

“That’s good. Send my regards to him once you return to the pack and also…” She paused. “Let me know how your wedding with her goes. I’d love to get fully involved in the preparation and everything p>

“Thanks for the offer, ma’am Luna. We’ll be upstairs now,” Emily said, practically forcing me to get up before leading us to her room.
“What was that?” she asked as soon as we got to the room. “Something did happen. She wouldn’t have reacted this way if everything was alright p>
“What? I dragged you in here because I missed you, and I want us to discuss alone before you leave. Or are you going to stay the night here?” she asked. “You’re making him start to worry about me,” I said.
The offer sounds good, but it would definitely attract provocation from Dad. “So, let’s discuss. How was work today? Hope it wasn’t too stressful?” she asked.
