It’s quite a pity that my visit didn’t go as planned. I knew it was going to happen, I saw it coming, but it’s hard for me to accept the fact that I didn’t get my expected response from Mr. Mico.

There have been no calls or messages since yesterday, and I’m the one who’s worried. I should have picked up her calls when she was actually trying to reach me, but I ruined everything with my anger. Now, I’m not even seeing any sign of her calling me anytime soon to apologize or at least explain what I saw yesterday afternoon.
Does this mean I have actually lost her to Alpha Christian just like that? It’s not possible. Emily isn’t that cheap to fall for a man she barely even knows, a man she was supposed to assist. I’m sure there’s a better explanation for this, and I’m just overthinking things. I trust her, and I won’t let this little misunderstanding drift us apart. I will fight for my love to the very end.
