We slowly walked back to the mansion, heading straight to Mr. Mico. As we took the stroll, I couldn’t help but wonder why he wanted to see us. He doesn’t request our presence unless there is something very important to discuss, and I was eager to find out what it was.
I had been on my way here last night after speaking with Christian, but then something came up, and I decided to change my route.
It’s a good thing I did because I managed to achieve something else—something I have always wanted. I had to tend to it and come back here as soon as I could because I knew Tristan would be upset with me, and a little surprised too.
