“Morning, have a seat, both of you,” he offered with a smile.
“I was surprised when I was informed that you were in the mansion. That’s why I sent for you both. I could have sent a message, but since you are here, let’s just discuss it,” he said, his expression turning serious.
“But why are you here? Did something happen at the Moonlight Pack?” I asked, still curious.
“Oh, not really. I just had to settle something with Tristan here, and I can’t delay it any longer,” I said, flashing him a smile.

“What do you have to say to us, Dad?” Tristan asked, holding my hand.
“Alpha Christian was here last night,” he said, making my heartbeat double. He said he would do something foolish last night. Did he actually follow through?
“Really? Was he here to make any complaints about…” I started, but was quickly interrupted.
“She is doing her best to revive his company. She has been working non-stop to bring the company back to what it once was, so why would he be here to…” Tristan asked, looking annoyed.
“Actually, this isn’t a complaint, but it’s still about you, Emily—or rather, Amira,” he said, making my eyes widen in shock.
“Christian believes that you are Amira, a girl he was once in love with. According to him, Amira left his pack without a word, and he is convinced that you are the Amira he lost five years ago. He wants you back in his pack and by his side,” he said.
“Christian said that?” I asked, still in shock.
