Luna Vivienne’s POV
I glanced at my son, disappointed with what he had just said to that cursed girl. Why would my only son be willing to go crazy for a cursed girl when there are others who would be far better suited? This mistake is on me. I could have ended this situation right from the very beginning. If I had played my role properly, I wouldn’t have to go through all this stress.
But I think I should just finish what I started, and I’ll do it gradually.
I walked to Sheela’s room. She must be in shock, heartbroken by Christian’s heartless words, but now isn’t the time to sulk. Now is the time to fight back.
I’m glad she’s slowly becoming the type of woman I want her to be. She did well with what she said about Adrian.
“Don’t tell me you’re still crying over spilt milk,” I said, walking toward her bed, where she was curled up like an infant.
“You didn’t tell me it would be this difficult, Luna Vivienne. He talks to me like trash, and I can’t take it anymore,” she replied.
“Each time I see that girl who caused all of this from the start, I feel like strangling her to death. Everything I’ve done to survive and have Christian all to myself, she made all of it futile. The more I see her, the more I want her gone for good,” she said, her voice trembling with frustration.
“I understand your pain, but we just have to come up with a plan to do everything right, just like we did with Adrian,” I said.
“Yes, let’s just do the same thing to her. Let’s lure her again and have her killed. I don’t mind doing it all by myself,” she suggested.
“That might not work, because we did the same thing to her the last time, and she’s wiser now. We need a new plan, a different technique,” I said, smirking.
“What plan do you have? I just hope it’s a quick one, so we can get this over with as soon as possible p>

Mr. Mico’s POV
“My Lord, Luna Vivienne is here to see you, and she also requested that Sir Tristan come along too,” a guard said.
The Moonlight Pack members seem to have something going on with my pack recently, and I don’t know if I should like it or not. Their frequent visits to my pack are beginning to worry me.
“What’s the problem this time around? Her son was here causing trouble last night, and now the mother is here. This is exactly why I wanted the contract terminated, Dad, but you insisted we let it be. Now they are already making unnecessary trouble,” Tristan complained, angrily dropping the paper he had been holding.
“Patience, boy. You can’t expect me to terminate a business contract based on your feelings. Business goes far beyond that,” I said.
“Also, Christian’s father and I were best friends before his death, so automatically, Christian is like a son to me. Treat him like you would treat your biological brother,” I added.
“That isn’t the problem, Dad. But I won’t sit back and do nothing if he’s trying to take my woman from me. I will fight back, and I’ll fight back with everything I’ve got,” he said firmly.
