This is tiring, but I’m doing it for the woman I love, so I’m enjoying every moment of it. The maids were there to assist us.
“Alright then, make sure you round everything up as soon as you can,” he said, picking up his car keys before rushing out.
According to Tristan, he said he would watch how I take care of Amira and made me promise never to hurt her. But there is a clause: if I ever do anything to make her cry or hurt her, he would take her back from me. But that will never happen. I’m sure about that, I thought to myself confidently.
“What’s going on here, Christian? What is all this for? And why exactly would you ridicule yourself as the alpha of this great pack?” my mom asked, staring at everything in disdain.
“I’m planning a surprise for Amira, and I have to do it personally. Being an alpha doesn’t mean I can’t love the woman I want, the way I want to,” I said.
“You are really going nuts,” she said, walking away from me in anger. “You are slowly changing from the Christian I know, all because of a woman, a cursed woman. She was cursed from birth, and you’ve chosen not to listen to me,” she said, walking back toward me.
“Mom, I thought you two were getting closer to each other. So what changed? Why are you referring to her as a cursed woman?” I asked.
“That’s because you’re becoming weaker because of her. You don’t expect me to be happy with a woman who is making my son foolish,” she said.
“Well, mom, your foolish son is about to get ready for the surprise, so I will be on my way now,” I said, walking out on her.
Amira’s POV
“Why are you here, Tristan, and why do you insist we pick up my bunny? Do we have a special outing tonight? If we do, let me give Christian a call so he doesn’t get angry,” I said to Tristan, who had driven me to the Redmoon Pack.

“Well, I’ll only give you a little hint, but you have to act surprised,” he said with a smile.
“Let me hear it,” I said curiously.
It’s been three weeks since I finally settled the conflict with my feelings.
I realized I only loved Tristan because he took me in and cared for me even without knowing me. He also gave me an important role in his father’s company, despite not knowing who I am or what happened to me in the past. I merely felt indebted to him.
But the feelings I had for Christian were something I couldn’t let go of. I thought I was going to lose both Tristan and Mr. Mico when I told them, but Tristan surprised me when he said he accepted my feelings and was happy as long as I was.
So, as it stands, I am no longer Mr. Mico’s daughter-in-law; I am now his daughter instead. I’m happy about that. I now have a family of my own, though most of the time, I wish Mr. Mico was my father.
“Christian is actually planning a surprise for you, and I want him to surprise you as well,” he said.
“What surprise is he planning and how do you want me to surprise him?” I asked curiously, as he parked the car.
“It’s high time you let him know about your son… his son and heir, which he doesn’t know he has,” he said, making me stop in my tracks.
