“It started here, but I need you to understand that it wasn’t my fault. I only did what I had to. I followed what was written on the paper you were brought with,” she said.

“I think it’s time I find out more about myself. Considering that I grew up here, this is the best place to get the answers I’ve been dying to hear p>

“Can you show me the place where I was left?” I asked after staring at the paper for a while, with tears gathering in my eyes.

I watched Christian from where I stood as he paced around restlessly. It was already very late at night, and his lover still hadn’t returned. I hoped she wouldn’t come back from wherever she was.
The door opened, revealing Amira, the one I thought would die, and I couldn’t help but hiss. Just when I was planning to go over there, comfort him, and maybe share a bed with him, she ruined everything—like always.
“You’re back. What took you so long? Are you okay?” he asked, hugging her tightly as soon as he noticed the sorrowful expression on her face.
It was as if she had just received a heartbreak, but it was a good thing she was sad.
Our eyes met for a moment, and the next thing she did was something I just couldn’t withstand. She had the audacity to kiss him, fully knowing I was right there.

I stormed into my room, breaking everything I could reach, wishing each shattered piece was Amira. But, of course, they remained just objects, not that godforsaken cursed girl.
