This time around, I would act on my own. I desperately needed to get her out of my way, since she had proven to be an obstacle, and I wouldn’t let that happen. She had just gotten lucky in life by meeting a few influential people, but I would show her what true fortune was—and what it meant to be fortunate without lifting a finger.
I wouldn’t let someone as low as she is take what I’ve set my sights on. Never. That would never happen. I would rather make my father intervene in this than let her think everything is fine when, in reality, it isn’t.
He would be asleep by now or busy with pack affairs. I’d wait patiently until the next morning before calling him. I didn’t want to do this at first, because of my feelings for Christian, but if he wouldn’t accept me the way I wanted him to, then he’d have to accept me forcefully.
“Dad,” I whined first thing in the morning.
“How is my grandson doing?” he asked instead.
“We aren’t doing well. I couldn’t sleep last night, not even your grandson,” I said, sitting up.
“Why is that? What’s the problem, and why exactly are you sounding like that?” he asked calmly, though I knew how dangerous that calmness could actually be.
“She’s back again,” I said.
“Who are you talking about p>
“The wretched girl Christian can’t get over. She came back, and Christian has completely forgotten about me and the baby in my womb. He doesn’t even have time for us anymore because he’s more occupied with her than with us. I think I’ll end up giving birth to this pup out of wedlock,” I said.
“I wonder how such a thing could happen while I’m still very much alive. It can never happen,” I said.
“Then what do we do about her? Should we just kill her to completely get rid of her? She even mentioned some strange things p>

“I’m scared. She’s desperate to be with Christian, and I think she might try to harm my baby or even switch him with a girl to secure her position as his mistress—or the Luna of the pack,” I lamented.
“I won’t let that happen. I won’t stand by and watch a random girl ruin my plans of extending my pack to the Moonlight Pack because of her obsession,” he said firmly.
“I would have loved to remove her completely, but she’s connected to two alphas—Christian and Mr. Mico. Doing that would be risky and could lead to war. You know what that means p>
“So, what do you advise I do? Should I just sit back and do nothing?” I asked impatiently.
“Of course not. I’ll find a solution on my end. You should do the same over there. Don’t let her infatuation affect you. Act like a Luna—be decisive and wise at the same time,” he said.
“I’ll do that, but I can’t do it all on my own. She has Christian’s love, while I don’t,” I said, trying to make him understand the situation.
“Whether he likes her or not shouldn’t stop you from making advances. It shouldn’t make you give up on him like a loser. I’m sure you’re not one,” he said.
“I will do everything you asked me to, but you shouldn’t just leave me to deal with this on my own. If you do, everything you’ve planned will crumble,” I threatened.
