As soon as he left, Bella’s gentle facade vanished. Her eyes turned vicious. She gripped the water glass so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

She was on the verge of losing it, but with Zachary still at home, she was forced to suppress her screams. Instead, she dug her nails into her palm the sharp pain bringing her back to her senses.
Pain was the only thing that felt real. A dangerous glint flashed in Bella’s eyes as she set down the glass and strode toward the kitchen. Earlier, she had already drafted a message in Zachary’s chat window, the words standing out starkly
[Zachary, I can’t bear to see you so upset. Let me try talking to Gwyneth for you. Maybe I can help smooth things over. After typing the message, she left the kitchen and headed straight for the penthouse.
Gwyneth had just returned from work. As soon as the elevator doors opened, she spotted Bella waiting right outside her door. Her expression instantly turned cold. “I’m calling security,” she warned.
“Wait, Gwyneth,” Bella said sweetly, her hands clasped behind her back. She had just sent the edited text message. “I really want to have a proper talk with you. I didn’t mean to hurt you. ”
Gwyneth hesitated for a moment. Bella quickly stepped forward, pressing down on her phone and pushing her against the corner wall, deliberately standing in the camera’s blind spot. The innocence in Bella’s eyes turned menacing.
They were close enough to hear each other’s hearts pound. Gwyneth sensed something was wrong and tried to push Bella away, but suddenly, a glint of silver flashed before her eyes.
The knife–Gwyneth froze, holding her breath, careful not to provoke Bella Sering Gwyneth’s rigid posture. Bella smirked and began flipping the blade playfully between her fingers, clearly pleased with herself.
“You’ve already rejected Zachary, so why are you still buzzing around him like some annoying fly?” Her voice dripped with venom. “He’s always so loyal, so gentle, and just can’t bring himself to let you go. I swear, sometimes I could just kill you p>
As she spoke, the blade was already pressed against Gwyneth’s throat. Gwyneth’s heart hammered in her chest, but outwardly, she maintained a facade of calm composure,

A look of utter madness filled Hella’s eyes. Suddenly, she twisted the kitchen knife and slashed it toward her own throat.
Gwyneth knew Bella would never actually kill herself. But she couldn’t just stand by and watch a bloody scene unfold at her doorstep. Nor could she let herself be framed for attempted murder.
