Lewis Horton had been monitoring all of them for a long time, just waiting for Great Grandmother to pass before dealing with each of them one by one.

Opening the location that Lewis had sent, Jake took Oliver Horton and headed there.

Jake suddenly chuckled, a whisper of self-mockery. He couldn’t understand what he had been so scared of in the past.
He let out a hollow laugh, then turned and walked away.
He didn’t look back.
This kind of father wasn’t worth looking back at.
It was two days later that he received news about his father again.
He was dead.
Killed when the driver accidentally struck him with an axe. Marisa Walsh and Selena Horton had helped bury the body. He died in that villa.
The driver was arrested, and Marisa and Selena, as accomplices, were also sent to prison.
When news of Oliver Horton’s death reached the Horton Family, Jake was stunned for a moment, even Melissa Knight stood frozen in disbelief for a while.
