In the parking lot, just as 1 was about to get into the driver’s seat, Noah stepped forward after placing his suitcase. “Let me drive, Emi,” he said.
I raised an eyebrow and teased him. “Why? Do you not trust my delving skills just because I’m a woman?”
Noah chuckled. “Of course not. I’ve just never driven such a nice before. I wanted to give it a try.”
Knowing how much guys love cars, I smiled and walled to the passenger seal.
After I got into the car, I received a call from the head bodyguard, saying that everything had been taken care of

Seeing how he didn’t mind, I instinctively raised my hand to pat his head and praise him, just as I used to. However, I couldn’t reach and only then did I realize he was no longer the short, chubby kid from the past.
Noticing what I wanted to do , Noah immediately bent down to let me pat his head . His same thoughtful and obedient demeanor was just like before.
That gesture instantly made him feel more familiar.
When I took Noah out for dinner, the head bodyguard called to report that the other party seemed to have noticed something, so they didn’t take any action along the way. They had also retreated icter we arrived home.
1 frowned slightly.
Noah, just as thoughtful and caring as before, immediately asked with concern when he saw me frown, “What’s wrong?”
I put my phone away and smiled. “It’s nothing. Let’s go eat !”
Noal understood and didn’t ask any further. He picked up my bag and followed me out.
Even back when he was small, he had always seen himself as a grown man. He was always considerate, helping us with our bags whenever Cordelia and I went out. So, he was used to carrying my bag, and I was used to letting him do it.
When we arrived at the most famous restaurant in Claudeville, 1 spotted julianne holding onto Irvin’s arm as they walked toward me.
Thinking about how he had promised to send her away and never see her again, and how he said that he truly loved me and couldn’t bear to lose me, I couldn’t help but chuckle.
Honestly, in all of human history, no one had ever loved the way he did.
