I frowned. “Did you just say ‘until I get my memories back‘?”
“Yes, just until you regain your memories!” Irvin reiterated
He seemed convinced I would remember how much I loved him after I regained my memories. Then, I would definitely love him again just like I did before, and we would go back to how we were.
I realized something when I met Irvin’s intense gaze but didn’t show it.
“Who told you I have lost my memories, Irvin? It’s not true. I was just messing with you when I said I did before. I divorced you simply because I didn’t love you anymore! It wasn’t because I had lost all my memories of you!” I argued.
First, Irvin didn’t believe I had amnesia no matter how seriously I had told him. Now, he refused to believe I didn’t have it no matter how much I insisted. He was convinced I was behaving like this toward him because I had lost my memories!
Seeing his refusal to believe, I sneered.
“What? Don’t tell me you think I insisted on divorcing you because I’ve forgotten how much I loved you? Do you seriously think I will love you again and want to get back together with you once I get them back?” I questioned sardonically.
