As we were about to get into the car, Noah’s uncle happened to be leaving, as well, surrounded by a group of bodyguards in black as he moved to his car.
The woman who claimed to be Lumi clung to his arm, staring at me.
Noah, who might have been upset with his uncle, remained silent, offering only a slight nod before getting into the car.
Since his own nephew didn’t say anything to him, I simply smiled at him before getting into the car as
well.

She was about to say something when she suddenly sensed the chilling air from him , as if he could take her life in an instant. She immediately loosened her grip on his arm , not daring to say another word.
The man was too unpredictable. He had always spoiled her, giving her anything she wanted because she had saved his life. Even if she asked for a star in the sky, he would do everything in his power to get it for
her.
Yet sometimes, he would be terrifyingly cold, as if he would kill her at any moment.
She had always felt that he knew everything, especially since he had suddenly brought her to the auction today. But since he showed no signs of knowing , she wondered if he was truly unaware.
After returning to the country and immersing myself in lab work, my mind became consumed with data, and I no longer had the dreams I used to have.
But for some reason, tonight, I dreamt the entire night about my past with Irvin.
And it was all memories of when we were deeply in love. When I woke up in the morning, my chest was tight with unease and panic.
It was fear.
Fear that it was a sign I was about to regain my memories.
But the panic didn’t last long, as I was soon summoned by a call from the lab.
This time, I was gone for another week before returning home. When I got home, Noah came to me with a grim expression.
“Emi, I found out why you fell asleep at the auction that day.”
The way he said it made me realize that it wouldn’t be anything good. I frowned instinctively. “What was it?”

Noah’s uncle had told him that he had been used by someone without even realizing it. So, Noah went to “investigate who had used him.

He had already arranged for the hypnotist to prepare everything needed for hypnosis in the lounge. The moment I stepped inside, the hypnosis had already started.
Thinking about how I had been dreaming of our loving past for the past few nights, my gaze darkened.
For the first time since our divorce, I reached out to Irvin. He came happily, holding a bouquet of my sunflowers, my favorite.
But after meeting my icy cold stare, he immediately realized something.
