I put my phone away and was about to get in the car.

I was stunned. His comment about my time management skills wasn’t wrong–my day had indeed been packed.

Considering Noah’s identity, Mr. Ashford’s words made sense. Thus, I didn’t question him further.
Suddenly, he closed the distance between us. Before I could react, he grabbed my chin. Then, he forcefully tilted my face up to meet his gaze.

My expression darkened at his words.
