If there was no way to stop Irvin from regaining his memories, the the only option was to make sure that I disappeared for good.
Although Grace had promised William she wouldn’t harm me, she never actually intended to keep it. After all, she wouldn’t do it with her own hands. There was no way for him to suspect her.
Even if he did, she felt that by then, I would already be dead. He probably wouldn’t go against the entire Hardwell family for my
sake.
