Grace had always wanted to stand at the pinnacle of power.
The man beside her raised an eyebrow and suggested, “Then don let her die. Force her into a dead–end and offer a hand, so she can be used by us.”
Grace chuckled but said nothing.
Now that she had the picture she wanted, there was no need to continue watching. She withdrew her gaze and returned to the couch in the room.
After taking a bottle of collagen , she finally looked at the man sitting across from her.
“At the rate Irvin is recovering, he’ll be fully healed in at most two to three weeks. Have you made all the preparations I asked for?” she asked.
“Of course! When have I ever failed to complete a task you gave me ‘he replied confidently.
Grace’s lips curled into a smile. “Great.”
Seeing how she smiled so casually, completely without any hesitation or pain, the man couldn’t help but comment. “Ms. Keller, you’re ruthless indeed.”
Grace lowered her gaze and gently stroked her belly. She didn’t respond.
That night, at the Hardwell Manor, Magnus was overjoyed when he heard that Irvin could now stand with the support of a
wheelchair.
Unable to contain his excitement, he rushed to Irvin and hugged him tightly. “Tim, you can do this! I believe you’ll fully recover soon! I’m waiting for the day you walk into the company with me.”
Magnus had always felt guilty for abandoning his younger son all these years. Now that Irvin had grown into an outstanding young man, he couldn’t help but like him even more, eager to pass down the business to him.
Irvin could feel Magnus‘ affection.
Just as he lowered his gaze, about to say something, Agatha walked in.
She saw Magnus, the dignified and superior man she had always known, embracing Irvin with such excitement. There were even tears in his eyes.
At the sight, her hands clenched into fists so tightly that her nails dug into her palms. However, she didn’t register the pain
because her heartache was far worse.
She couldn’t accept that her beloved son, whom she had raised so dearly, had passed away and was now having his place taken
so easily.
What was even worse was that this imposter was loved even more than her real son.
Remembering how Timothy had never received a single loving hug from his father, not even a word of praise, a deep, burning hatred surged through her.
Her hatred was so intense that she wanted to storm forward and push them apart. But in the end, she held back her impulse.
Loosening her grip, she forced a smile before she walked toward them. “Alright, Magnus, give him a break. Dr. Wallace is here. Tim should go for his treatment.”
Although Grace had already confirmed that Irvin was only pretending to be hypnotized, she never told Agatha nor stopped the daily hypnosis.
She continued to let Dr. Wallace, the hypnotist, come every day–not to really hypnotize, but just for show.

With that, he instructed someone to send Irvin back to his room, before Agatha could say anything.
Although she was furious, she didn’t dare to defy Magnus with so many people around. Only after everyone had left did she finally step forward
“Magnus, what are you doing?” she asked.
