Grace chuckled. “See? Even you can’t accept it, so how could Mr. Hull Senior? Noah is the sole heir of two prominent families, and how could these families possibly accept someone like Emilia Quill as an in–law?”
“So, you’re planning on getting someone else to do your dirty work , ” Agatha stated while studying Grace.
Looping her arm through Agatha’s, Grace smiled and said, “You’ve always understood me best, Agatha.”
Following the success of our AI chip research project, we shifted our focus to expanding its applications.
Currently, my research team in Claudeville was exploring the possibility of applying the same principles to bedridden hemiplegics. We wanted to see if we could help them regain the ability to live independently.
Among middle–aged and elderly patients, the majority were hemiplegics. Such patients had become heavy burdens on their families. So, if we could help them move freely again and regain the ability to take care of themselves, I would feel my life was complete.
Once again, I threw myself into lab work. However, our research hit a bottleneck, and we weren’t making any progress with our experiments.
Because of this , Mr. Holland suggested I take a break from the project and further my studies overseas–expand my horizons, broaden my knowledge, and learn from world–class professors.
