Irvin also read all the comments, which were all about how perfect William and I looked together. While staring at a photo of Fabledom’s dreamlike castle Irvin suddenly burst into laughter.
He was laughing at himself. He had always spoken of love. But in actual fact, he didn’t even deserve to say the word.
He could vividly remember how quietly disappointed I had been when I had told him about my dream of going to Fabledom. He could also recall, with great clarity, how he had promised to take me there–how he had also said he would treat me like royalty and spoil me like I was the only princess in the world.
