Before the slim man could say anything, Timothy said, “Don’t forget once Emilia Quill goes missing, William Ashford won’t be the only one who’ll go all out to find her. The Hardwells and the fulls will too. If we go head–to–head with all of them long- term, our losses will far outweigh any benefits.
“She’s already made a breakthrough in this field. So, as long as she gives it her all and keeps going, I believe she can produce results within a year.
“If we only go up against them for that long, the gains will still outweigh the losses . However, any longer than that will only end in the opposite,” he stated.
Timothy didn’t just want to get rid of my children because he would only tolerate his own children as the next generation. It was also because he knew, unlike the other scientists, he couldn’t imprison me for life to continue developing things that brought the organization great benefits.
Just dealing with the Ashfords alone would be a major headache for the organization. Noah’s grandfather also had extensive international connections.
On top of that, considering Irvin’s feelings for me, he would surely join forces with the Ashfords once he learned I had gone missing.

The organization could only keep me for a limited time. Additionally, doing so would bring so much trouble. Since this was the case , the slim man naturally wanted me to produce results, and the sooner the better.

Grace was in the middle of a prenatal stimulation activity. She was newly pregnant, and the embryo had just formed , so stimulating the fetus now wasn’t very effective. Even so, she still took it seriously.
Despite everything she had done, Grace genuinely wanted to be a good mother this time. She didn’t want to care about anyone or anything. All she wanted was to peacefully and smoothly deliver the twins she was carrying.
Her maternal love had made her seem less calculating. Now, she had the subtle yet beautiful glow of a mother.
