Truthfully , Timothy actually respected William quite a bit when it come to business. If he could’ve avoided it , he would’ve never gone up against him .
Unexpectedly, William just had to fall for me. Because of this, Timothy was forced to face off against him and suffered massive
losses as a result.
Timothy honestly couldn’t understand how someone as smart, heartless, and elite as William could fall for me.
Sure, I was definitely talented in scientific research. In just two short years, I had developed results that others couldn’t achieve in a lifetime. I had made breakthrough after breakthrough in such short time.
In fact, Timothy believed that if William hadn’t intervened and disupted his plans, he could’ve successfully used me to achieve his nefarious ambitions. And it wouldn’t have taken more than a year.
It really would’ve been unimaginably mind–blowing and glorious that had happened.
Still, I was a divorcée. I was pregnant with another man’s child.
Even if Timothy admired my talent, he firmly believed William shouldn’t have fallen for someone like me, no matter what. And he definitely shouldn’t have gone to war with ‘Timothy over me–especially when I had yet to reciprocate the intensity of his affections.
To Timothy, that made William nothing but a fool.
His words made Noah’s eyes turn cold in an instant. “Only a scumbag would assume everyone else is garbage like him too just because he can’t stand to see others doing well. In reality, he’s the only one that’s trash!”
Noah truly loved me. No matter what, he believed I was the best thing the world had to offer. He absolutely refused to allow anyone to insult me. Even if that person was Timothy, who seemed more powerful than he was, he wasn’t afraid at all.

His words provoked Timothy so much that he actually laughed from anger. “Hey, kid. Your uncle’s about to be thrown in prison by me. What even are you compared to him?”
William was so overwhelmingly brilliant. So, even though Noah was excellent in his own right, people still assumed he wasn’t capable or a threat.
“I’m your maker! You think you’ve put my uncle in prison? Hah! You really are a piece of trash with an inflated ego!” Noah retorted.
Timothy stared at him in disbelief. To be honest, he felt even William wouldn’t dare speak to him like this. Yet, a small fry like Noah–a kid who didn’t even count for much–had dared to speak to him in such a way. It was unbelievable.
No wonder people said Gen Z had no respect. They had never tasted the bitterness of reality , so they dared to say anything. They were so cocky that they even thought themselves untouchable.
Grace also looked at Noah in disbelief. She believed the people around me must all have brain damage. None of them seemed to recognize status or fear those in power.
It was just like how, from the start, I had dared to talk back to her and retaliate the way I did.
To Grace, William couldn’t beat Timothy. So , no matter how one looked at it, his nephew, Noah, should be afraid of Timothy. But not only was Noah utterly fearless, he even had the audacity to say he was Timothy’s maker.
She truly didn’t even know what to say anymore.
Snapping out of his disbelief, Timothy looked like a viper that was about to strike. After shooting Noah a venomous glare, he walked inside with Grace on his arm.
