After Irvin returned home, he immediately began working with the police. Before he was interviewed, law enforcement had already surrounded Hardwell Manor from every angle.
Timothy was sharp and quick–witted. The moment he saw Irvin’s ve broadcast, a sense of dread washed over him once the initial disbelief wore off. He realized things were about to go very, very wrong. He immediately tried to flee.
He looked around at the circle of cops closing in on him and knew that there was no escape. And for the first time in his life, he laughed out of pure regret. He had never been one to regret anything, but at that moment, he did.
He regretted underestimating Irvin. He had treated Irvin like a toy, something he could twist and bend at will. He thought no matter how hard Irvin fought, he’d never be able to escape the path he laid out for him.
What he never imagined was that Irvin didn’t just escape, but he’d turn around and completely destroy him in a single move, making him utterly speechless.
Just then, the butler came rushing in with news. Police officers had stormed the property.
Agatha and Grace, who were in the middle of a conversation, dropped everything and ran to the scene. When they saw Timothy surrounded by the police, panic hit them both, especially Agatha.
“Officers, what’s going on here?” she asked. “Why have you barged into our home like this?”
Officer Patrick Lawson, the lead investigator, stepped forward and explained the situation professionally. “We’re here to arrest Timothy Hardwell. Please, Mrs. Hardwell, do not interfere with official business.”
Agatha knew that Timothy was the real criminal. However, she thought Timothy wasn’t a bad person. He had just lost his memory and committed those crimes because he thought that was who he was. He hadn’t chosen to do those terrible things… right?
How could they arrest him?
Besides, hadn’t Timothy told her Irvin would be the one taking the blame? Hadn’t he arranged everything down to the last
detail?
With the two of them looking identical, down to their DNA, hadn’t he already set Irvin up to take the fall?
So why were they arresting Timothy? Why weren’t they going after Irvin?
As Officer Lawson moved closer, Agatha rushed forward and spread her arms, standing protectively in front of Timothy like a mother animal shielding her cub.
“Officer, this has to be a mistake!” she cried. “This is my son, Timothy. He’s been home all these years. I know for a fact he hasn’t done anything wrong! There’s no way he’s the leader of some criminal organization!
“He has a twin brother who looks exactly like him. He must be the one you’re looking for! You have to be sure about this. Please don’t arrest the wrong person!”
“We’re absolutely sure. We have hard evidence that proves your som, Timothy, is the man who’s been running that criminal organization for years. The other one, Irvin , is innocent. He’s also the one who’s been living here in your home, impersonating
Timothy, for the past two years.
“Please step aside immediately, ma’am. If you continue to obstruct our operation, we’ll have no choice bu interfering with official duties.”

Agatha’s eyes burned with disbelief. “What do you mean he’s innocent? What do you mean he’s the one impersonating Timothy?” she snapped.
“I’m their mother. You think I don’t know my own sons? Tim’s the one who’s been by our side these past two years, taking care of us!
