In Lestoria City, Grace looked at the note that had just been handed to her. She was so excited that she couldn’t keep her hands from trembling
She hadn’t expected Timothy to be willing to take her away with him. Not only that, he had also given her such hope.
If their plan worked, not only would they be able to make a comeback, but they could even get rid of me. At this thought, Grace’s excitement instantly spiked.
However, she suddenly went from being excited to composed. She couldn’t help but wonder if this was a trap. After all, Timothy wasn’t a good man.
Back when Grace was pregnant with his child, he hadn’t cared for ber at all, nor had he spared her any benefits. Now, she had, lost her children, and the Keller family had also fallen. So to him, she was completely useless.
A man like Timothy wouldn’t suddenly treat a worthless woman like her so well. Yet, he had given her such a good opportunity.
Because of this, Grace genuinely couldn’t stop herself from being suspicious. Could Timothy’s promises to her be nothing more than a setup for something else?
But then again, at this point, she had no other options left. Worst case scenario, she would lose her life.
At this thought, Grace stopped overanalyzing the situation. Right now, Timothy was her only hope. So, regardless of her suspicions, she had no choice but to trust him.
She thought her communication was as discreet as it could get and was certain that they wouldn’t be discovered.
But unbeknownst to Grace, Irvin was aware of every single move she and Timothy were making. Irvin had figured out his entire plan from the moment he made his first move.
Irvin was powerful, but Timothy wasn’t completely weak either. Timothy knew Irvin was aware of his every move. However, he still continued because this was exactly what he wanted. He wanted Irvin to know his entire plan because he was laying a trap for
Irvin.
Anyone who had watched the fictional tale of Monkey’s Strife knew of the trials of the superpowered macaque character named
Sissy.
Sissy looked exactly like the superpowered macaque protagonist , Sunny. Their abilities were also evenly matched. They had turned the world upside down when they battled each other and had come to a tie. Not even the gods had been able to tell them
apart.
Hence, how could anyone be sure that the macaque who survived in the end was really Sunny and not Sissy?
Timothy and Irvin looked more alike than the macaque characters from the fictional tale. And as long as he was willing to completely humble himself, in the future, no one would be able to tell if the real survivor was Irvin or him.
In the past, Irvin had impersonated Timothy to stay alive. So in this battle, he would make Irvin die in his place and assume Irvin’s identity.
This hadn’t been part of his original plan and could be considered a mid–way failure. Even so, as long as Timothy survived and Irvin perished in his place, it would still be his victory.
Irvin had his scheme , and Timothy had his. In the midst of it all, Timothy had staged a car accident and escaped while en route to an external hospital for medical treatment.
His plan had gone off without a hitch, which made him believe the rest of his plans would go just as smoothly. But against his expectations, it didn’t.
The police were already hot on Timothy’s trail soon after he reached his first safe house. He found this hard to believe. Even if Irvin knew his every move, he shouldn’t have been able to find this safehouse.

Or could it be that Timothy had underestimated Irvin again? However, this time it wasn’t Irvin he had underestimated, but rather the domestic law enforcement. He had underestimated how relentless the police would be in hunting down a high- profile and notorious criminal like him.
Timothy had become accustomed to how things were abroad, where he could bribe his way out of everything as long as he had money. And because of this fierce manhunt, he had run out of time just like before.
As such, Timothy couldn’t execute a showdown with Irvin like in Monkey’s Strife. All he could do was stay on the run.
