Timothy made up his mind and said, “Fine! You don’t have to kill him yourself. Just take the dagger and stab anywhere on his body. We just have to make sure he has really fainted!”
When Agatha heard that, she was taken aback. She finally understood that he was acting that way because he was suspecting whether Irvin truly had fainted.
When she turned back to look at Irvin again, she saw how he had fainted on the floor, lying there without moving a muscle. It didn’t seem like he was putting on an act at all. Seeing that, she couldn’t help but look at Timothy to say something.
But before she could say anything, he said impatiently, “Don’t tell me you believe he’s unconscious and just stab him when I tell you to. Time is of the essence, so hurry up if you want to get out of here!”
Agatha didn’t dare to do it at all at first. But when she remembered it was Irvin who had sent her there, her gaze turned cold. She didn’t want to stay there for another day.
Without saying or thinking anything else, she picked up the dagger and hurriedly walked toward Irvin. When she reached him, she raised the dagger and stabbed it at him without any hesitation.
Irvin was pretending to have fainted like Timothy had guessed. He wanted to have the element of surprise and kill Timothy right away when the latter had let down his guard. After that, he would have turned the murder into a case of self–defense.
To Irvin’s surprise, Timothy was incredibly paranoid. He was even doubting his plan’s success and didn’t dare to get close to Irvin at all.
Instead, he was ready to jump out of the window at any moment. He even wanted to see if Irvin had truly fainted by getting Agatha to kill him.
Agatha wasn’t going to kill Irvin. Instead, she was just going to stab him. Despite that, there was no way he would be able to take the attack without reacting.
Since Timothy was well–prepared, there might be a chance for Irvin to lose in a fight with him. If Irvin were to be injured, there was no way he would be able to win.
Irvin thought about the time and figured the police might be surrounding the area soon. So, when Agatha tried to stab him, he rolled to the side to dodge the attack. Then, he swiftly got up and lunged at Timothy.
Agatha couldn’t believe Irvin really was pretending to have fainted. She was stunned by the sudden revelation.
Although Timothy had his doubts, thinking that Irvin was faking it, he still subconsciously believed that Irvin really had fainted. After all, he still didn’t move a muscle when Agatha raised the dagger.
With that thought in mind, Timothy was ready to approach Irvin to kill him thoroughly.
Timothy didn’t expect things to turn out like this, so he couldn’t react in time. Instead, he was stunned for a few seconds.
Those few seconds were enough for Irvin to gain the upper hand. He tackled Timothy with great force, and the latter couldn’t fight back at all.
After that, Irvin shut the door tightly so that Timothy couldn’t escape.
He thought the stage of their struggle was set and was ready to give Timothy a lethal stab. Timothy wasn’t able to avoid the attack, so he pulled Agatha toward him, who was standing at the side,
He was using his own mother as his shield.
