I even wondered if I should reconcile with Irvin so that the twins would have a complete family. After all, when they grew up, they would realize that their family was different from other people’s families. By then, they would wish their parents could be together.
Even though I didn’t want that, I figured I could do it as my love for them grew each day.
I was fortunate to have children who were that sensible and loved me a lot. After they learned that our family wasn’t like anyone else’s, they would focus on keeping me happy. Despite loving their father a lot, they never asked me to get back with Irvin at all.
They were incredibly great, and because of that, I really wanted them to grow up happily.
After I got someone to prepare all the things for dyeing hair, I sat by the bed and started dyeing Irvin’s gray hair black. As I did it, I kept talking to him, despite getting no reaction from him at all.
When I thought about the hardworking kids, my eyes started to become teary, uncontrollably.
“Wake up, Irvin. Just wake up now. Then, we can be together again. I know you want the twins to grow up happily as well , so let’s be with them as they grow up, alright? Wake up so that we can be a family… I’m begging you…”
While Irvin said he would let me be with William and slipped into a coma , he thought he would never wake up again.
He figured he would never return to our side anymore. He couldn’t bear to go, but he was willing to accept it. In fact, he thought a person who deserved to die like him was finally going to die.
When we met again in university, I thought he had already long forgotten about me. However, he didn’t forget at all. He didn’t mention how he had saved me before because he didn’t want me to be with him because of that.
He new me long before he saved my life.
There was a chemistry olympiad back in our junior years in high school. Being the best in chemistry in our entire school, Irvin thought he would win the competition and get the scholarship for himself. To his surprise, I won instead.
Being the proud young man that he was, he thought he shouldn’t have lost, especially to a young lady like m paying more attention to me.

He clearly knew how great I was. However, when he heard from Julianne that I was dating him to make her suffer and that I planned everything, he believed her instead.
He loved me too much, and that love made him afraid.
He was scared of what could happen if I really didn’t love him and if I really planned everything. After all, his father loved him a lot since he was a kid. If Irvin wanted the stars, his father would find a way to get them for him.
Having so much love as a kid made him believe that no one would ever betray him. So, when he heard that I didn’t actually love him, he was terrified and didn’t trust his instincts at all.
The more he loved me, the more afraid he was. The fear blinded him and caused him to make mistakes over and over again.
Irvin knew he would be a laughing stock if he said he loved me too much. People might even tell him that he wouldn’t be afraid of getting hurt if he really did love me. After all, if he was worried about being hurt, then he didn’t really love me that much.
There were many kinds of people in the world, which meant there were many kinds of love. He knew I was kind and that my love for him had been selfless from the beginning.
I loved him so much that I would never hurt him , no matter what.
