Zachary seriously doubted she even remembered what the outfit looked like.
“I don’t have time to argue with her! Let’s go to my hotel for drinks. It’s on me.” Zachary was in a foul mood.
Things took a turn for the worse when his friend reminded him of this. He stood up and headed to his hotel for drinks, saying, “Alright, we’ll sacrifice our livers to join you and drink to your heart’s content today.” Josh and Duncan followed suit, standing up to accompany Zachary as they left Beans and Cream.
Unbeknownst to Zachary, someone was secretly reporting his every move at the cafe to Grandma May. After receiving this firsthand gossip, Grandma May inquired of the cafe manager, “Have you seen his wife here?” The manager responded, “Isn’t Mr. York single?” The elderly woman smiled, saying, “Oh dear, I must be getting old and forgetful! I think I’ve longed for a granddaughter-in-law for so long that I’ve gone a bit delusional, imagining that Zack is married. Please send me the surveillance footage from today.” The manager, aware of how much his boss anticipated her grandchildren’s marriages, thought she might be a little out of touch as well.
