Missus didn’t reach out to Mr. Zachary, and he did not return to Brynfield. The bodyguards were left clueless about the reason for the couple’s disagreement, feeling helpless in the situation. After speaking, Zachary fell silent. Jim glanced over at him and noticed he was focused on his phone, reading a message from Serenity.
She had seen his national MPV parked downstairs, which he had previously used to mislead her about his financial status, and asked if he was not working that day. Zachary found himself in a dilemma. Should he reply? He had spent the night at his own villa and hadn’t returned to Brynfield.
