He climbed into his undercover MPV and drove out of Brynfield. Once out of the neighborhood, he stopped at the side of the road where his Rolls Royce and convoy were waiting.
“Sir,” a bodyguard greeted him as they quickly exited their vehicles. They formed a protective barrier around Zachary as they approached the Rolls Royce, and one of the bodyguards politely inquired, “Would you like me to dispose of that for you, Sir p>
He was referring to the breakfast Zachary was still holding. Without responding, Zachary handed over the uneaten hash brown to the bodyguard, leaving it to their discretion.
Once the car door was closed, the vehicle purred to life and smoothly integrated into the flow of traffic. Meanwhile, Serenity spent her day bustling around, diligently filling in all the gaps to make the house feel like home.
The online order of kitchenware also arrived at the house.
Zachary returned home late that evening, finding Serenity already fast asleep. Taking care not to disturb her, he quietly navigated through the house, admiring her vision of a home. It was clear she had taken the time to appreciate the little details.
