After leaving Wiltspoon School in his national MPV, he stopped at his usual spot and instructed his bodyguards to drive the MPV while he got into his Rolls Royce.
On his way to the company, he called Sam and asked him to arrange for someone to deliver a booster seat.
To Zachary’s surprise, Elisa was waiting in front of his office building again, but she was no longer blocking his path. She simply stood quietly to the side, watching his car enter the building.
Elisa found it difficult to let go of her feelings for Zachary. She told herself that she would see him today and then never again.
However, if she discovered that he was not actually married and only wore the ring to make her give up on him, she would reconsider her stance.
After Zachary’s motorcade drove into the building, the gate of York Corporation closed shortly thereafter. Once the Rolls Royce was out of her sight, she stood for a moment longer before turning around and returning to her car with a heavy heart.
It took her a while to start the car. Initially, she drove slowly, but then she suddenly accelerated and sped away.
Whenever Elisa was feeling down, she would go shopping.
Two hours later, her car came to a stop in front of Serenity’s store.

Elisa had enjoyed a two-hour shopping spree and was in a much better mood.

“I know what I bought. It’s probably a mix of food, drinks, toys, and other items,” she said, swiping items off the racks as if she were on a shopping spree.
Jasmine called Serenity, who was equally astonished. At Elisa’s request, the three girls brought everything from the car into the store. “The toys are for Sonny,” Elisa noted, remembering only the toys. She wanted to be close to the adorable little boy, so she purchased a variety of toys for him—some that flew, crawled, and even swam.
Serenity looked at the two large boxes of toys and laughed. “When Sonny gets older, he’ll have enough toys to open his own shop. Even if he only sells what you’ve given him, he’ll have a steady business for years p>
Elisa sat down and replied, “I like Sonny, so I bought toys for him. You all spoil him in your own ways, and I spoil him in mine. Serenity, your nephew is just too cute! If I had a nephew as adorable as him, I’d pluck the moon from the sky if that’s what he wanted p>
“Unfortunately, my mom only had one daughter—me. My nephews will come from my brothers,” Serenity said. Her eldest brother was married, but the couple was still in their honeymoon phase and wasn’t ready for children. As for her younger brother, she wondered if he even had a girlfriend.
Sonny slid down from Mrs. Lane’s arms and his eyes widened in amazement at the mountain of toys. Overwhelmed, he couldn’t decide which one to play with first.
Snowball crouched in front of the box alongside Sonny, and Serenity realized that Snowball seemed to prefer Sonny’s company over hers.

Serenity poured her a cup of warm water and inquired, “What prompted you to buy so many things?” Elisa replied, “I tend to shop when I’m feeling down, purchasing anything that makes me happy. There’s no ulterior motive; I just know my mom will scold me for wasting money if I bring them home p>
