Liberty did not speak much to her sister. After handing her son to Serenity, she waved goodbye to her brother-in-law and the elderly lady before quickly riding away.
She arrived at the office fifteen minutes before work hours began.
Initially, it took her twenty minutes to complete five laps. Now that she had become accustomed to running, her speed had improved slightly.
She was still able to make it on time.
After parking her bike, she locked it up and started running. Liberty ran five laps around the small garden in front of the office building every day before work. Everyone at Lewis & Co. was aware of her routine. At first, they watched her as if it were a show. Within a couple of days, some colleagues decided to join her. They spent most of their time in the office and hardly exercised, making it easy to gain weight. However, they were not as heavy as Liberty. Running a few laps before work helped them shed some pounds.
