Grandma May insisted on joining them. Although Serenity wanted to assert that she could handle herself, she realized her relatives at the shop could easily outnumber her in a confrontation. Therefore, she didn’t object to Grandma May coming along. Liberty had previously mentioned that Grandma May could hold her own. As the trio finished their breakfast, Serenity attempted to clear the table when Grandma May shot her grandson a knowing glance. Zachary quietly rose to take the dirty plates from Serenity and carry them to the kitchen for washing.

Grandma May shared her wisdom: “You need to involve him in the household chores. This home belongs to both of you, and you should manage it together. Sure, he works hard, but you do too. Who’s to say you don’t get tired p>
“Don’t let him act like a king at home. Make sure he contributes around the house. You deserve to relax a bit as well p>

It was her scumbag brother-in-law who acted like a king after work.
Hank expected her sister to handle everything for him. When asked to pitch in, Hank would unapologetically claim he was too exhausted from a long day at work and just wanted to rest at home.

As her sister was about to break up with him, Jessica wondered if she would end up spoiling Hank and doing everything for him. “I’ve encouraged him, along with his brothers and cousins, to be self-reliant from a young age. “You need to invest time in guiding Zack if you want him to be a good man. He may struggle to find the right words or express his feelings, but when he truly cares for you, he will spoil you like crazy. It’s better for him to spoil you than the other way around,” Serenity replied with a grin. “You’re Zachary’s grandmother, Nana. He’ll say you’re playing favorites if he hears this p>
“I’m only sharing this wisdom because I’m his grandmother. I want both of you to live happily ever after,” Grandma May admitted, unabashedly expressing her favoritism toward her granddaughter-in-law. After all, Serenity was the granddaughter-in-law she had chosen, and she was determined to dote on her.
