Jasmine stood up and said to Josh apologetically, “Serenity has had too much to drink, Mr. Buchan. I’m going to take her home now p>
“I don’t think you should drive since you’ve had something to drink as well. I didn’t drink, so I can drive you home.” Since Josh came here for Jasmine, he had avoided alcohol entirely, looking for an opportunity to get her in his car.
“Thank you, Mr. Buchan, but we won’t need your help. My brother is here to drive us home. I called him to be the responsible driver because he doesn’t drink—he has alcohol intolerance p>
Josh was left speechless.
He had come all this way, believing he would have the chance to take Jasmine home and win her favor.
Josh had meticulously planned everything but failed to foresee that Drake had alcohol intolerance. He hadn’t expected Drake to be the designated driver for the inebriated girls.
He glanced at the time. Zachary had flown in on a private plane and must be arriving soon.

Jasmine declined his offer, giving her brother a look that urged him to settle the bill before Josh could.
Drake rushed to pay the tab.
Josh didn’t contest the check. Instead, he focused on the drawing on the table, picked it up, and followed Jasmine out of the bar.
After paying, Drake quickly exited as well.

Before Jasmine realized it, Serenity’s weight was lifted from her hands and taken over by a pair of strong arms.

Feeling empathetic, Zachary lifted her up and turned toward a sedan. The driver sat behind the wheel.
It was a bodyguard’s vehicle.
Zachary had taken an overnight flight back and had instructed Jim over the phone to wait for him at Neon Nights. Jim exited the car and opened the back door.
