“Ms. Yates, are you dreaming, or do you have a few screws loose? You want to add me as a friend? What would we even talk about?” Liberty questioned.
“I’m not afraid of you calling me arrogant. I just want to know if you can live well after divorcing Hank. Oh, right—you received over a million dollars from him. That should last a while if you and your son are careful,” Jessica replied.
Liberty remained calm, unaffected by Jessica’s arrogance. “We still live in the same city, so you can easily find out about me if you choose to. Just wait and see how my son and I thrive p>
“I’d also like to remind you not to be too arrogant, Ms. Yates, or you might end up miserable,” Liberty cautioned.
