After completing the purchase, he got into his new car, not bothering to wait for Serenity. “I’m going back to the office,” he announced before driving away. Watching his car disappear, Serenity whispered to herself, “Is he upset with me? Is it because I suggested we keep our finances separate? He’s the one who mentioned the divorce, so it makes sense for us to handle our money independently. I don’t want to be responsible for any expenses during this process; that would just complicate things p>
