Elisa was curious to see who the ostentatious person was in the convoy. Having deduced that it was Remy Johnson, she felt there was no need to follow any longer. She
been convinced they were seeing things.
“Then I’ll head out first,” Remy said.
Elisa replied, “Okay, go ahead. I’ll wait here for my driver p>
Remy smiled, exchanged a few pleasantries, and returned to his car. He waved goodbye to Elisa once more before closing the curtains of his car window. Soon, the engine roared to life. Within minutes, Elisa could no longer see his convoy.
Meanwhile, Serenity was still waiting for Zachary at the entrance of his office. After Elisa left, Serenity entered a milk tea shop, chose a seat, and sent a message to Zachary.
Serenity: [Zachary, have you finished work yet? I’m waiting for you at the milk tea shop across from your office p>
Zachary: [Why did you come here in this cold weather? Are you wearing a thick coat p>
Serenity: [You know what I wore when I left home this morning. I won’t catch a cold. Let’s go to my sister’s place for lunch. I don’t need to be at the store right now, so I thought I’d pick you up from work since I have nothing else to do. Do you not like that I’m here? If you don’t, I won’t come again p>

His bright smile surprised everyone, causing them to pause and stare, thinking they must be imagining things. If it weren’t for the group of bodyguards trailing behind him, everyone would have been convinced they were hallucinating.
They thought the smiling man was not their boss.

He added, “Didn’t you come to pick me up from work? You’re not sending me back to work this afternoon, are you p>
Serenity smiled and reached out to pinch his cheek.
“This feels nice. At least you’re eating well p>
She enjoyed pinching his face.
Zachary lowered his head and looked at her with a smile, saying affectionately, “If you enjoy pinching my face, you could just ask me to lower my head so you don’t have to raise your hand so high p>
As he spoke, he lowered his head, and Serenity pinched his face again.
Grandma May always said that to have a good husband, she had to train him. This made sense because Zachary was no longer as cold toward Serenity as he had been before, thanks to her efforts.
