“ You’re right,” I said, trying to sit up, but the second I moved, my legs gave out and I flopped right back onto the bed.
Killian chuckled. “Where do you think you’re going like that? ”
“Bathroom,” I muttered, a little embarrassed. “I need to shower p>
He didn’t argue. He just scooped me up like I weighed nothing and carried me into the bathroom.
What started as a bath quickly, turned into something else entirely

the moment the warm water touched me, so did the fire again. His eyes lingered on my skin, and I could feel his hunger like heat against my back. He reached out and rubbed my shoulders, massaging slowly, then let his hands drift down.
By the time I turned to face him, his mouth was already on mine, hard and deep. Water streamed over us from the rainfall shower above, soaking his shirt, which he ripped off and tossed aside. I leaned back against the wall as he kissed down my
throat, sucking and biting while his hands explored every part of me. of me.
He lifted my thigh, hooking it over his arm, and slid inside me with a slow, deep thrust. The wall was cold against my back, but his body was hot, pulsing, filling me so completely I cried out. the tub edge while he grabbed my hips and pounded into me from behind, groaning low in my ear as his fingers left marks
on my skin.

It felt like we were in there forever. By the time we were done, my legs were jelly, and I was soaked inside and out.

made our way to the living room.

His voice was gruff. But the way he looked at Killian? It wasn’t just gratitude. There was a silent accusation in his eyes. The kind that says I–know–exactly what you–did–to–my–daughter – under –my–roof kinda look.
Killian nodded respectfully, but didn’t say anything. He let go of my hand, probably out of consideration.
But I didn’t let go.
I grabbed his hand again, holding it tighter this time.
“I think you both owe me an explanation, ” I said, my voice steady. I looked directly at my father. “ Dad? ”
