The homeroom teacher walked in, saw me, and his eyes filled with disdain. He cleared his throat solemnly.

own blood in an act of true selflessness.

“Someone who abandons their classmates in a crisis has no place leading them. Effective immediately, Chloe Bennett is removed from her position, Luna Brooks will serve as Class President for the remainder of
the term p>
Thunderous applause followed.
Luna offered a small, humble smile, hugging the class president’s binder to her chest as her eyes met mine

The officer took a step forward. “Luna Brooks, we have confirmation that you are HIV positive. By knowingly sharing a contaminated needle, you deliberately exposed your classmates to a communicable disease. You’ll need to come with us now p>
His words froze everyone in the room.
