“Rebekah, I saw the livestream yesterday,” said a pink-haired woman sitting across from her. Rebekah shook her head.
The smirk on the woman’s lips widened as she tossed her long hair back. “I guess that makes sense. I’m a total knockout now, after all. And you’ve been playing housewife for so many years, never bothering to come to a single reunion. It’s only natural you wouldn’t remember us p>
She addressed the rest of the group. “Everyone, Miss Fletcher here has a short memory for us common folk. Why don’t we all reintroduce ourselves?” She turned back to Rebekah, starting first. “My name is Chloe Scott. You’d do well to remember it p>
The name clicked. Chloe was the youngest daughter of the Scotts, a family that had struck it rich in real estate. One by one, the others introduced themselves. When they were finished, Chloe fixed her gaze on Rebekah. “So, do you remember us all now, Miss Fletcher?” she asked, a faint smile on her lips but undisguised contempt in her eyes.
Rebekah’s brow furrowed.
Candice, meanwhile, fanned the flames with a sweet smile. “Of course she does. My sister has been Mrs. Forrester for years, so naturally, she had to prioritize her family. It’s understandable if she doesn’t remember you all after so long p>
Chloe scoffed. “What’s there to be so proud of? At the end of the day, she was just a housewife. And dressed so shabbily… looks like Benjamin wasn’t that in love with you after all p>

Chloe was left speechless. Rebekah held her gaze, refusing to back down.
