Caleb added, “You are the princess of the Powell family. Mom, Dad, and our grandparents thought of you constantly. We are all so happy to finally have you back p>
Rebekah’s eyes welled up. For years, she had felt like a ghost, never truly belonging to the Fletcher family and never finding a place in Benjamin’s heart. Yet, in another corner of the world, her real family had been waiting for her with open arms. A lump formed in her throat, and she fought back tears.
Xavier gently ruffled her hair. “So that doesn’t count as Blaze’s gift. We’ll make him get you something better later p>
Rebekah laughed through her tears, her heart feeling light and unsteady. “I’m sorry. It was my stubbornness that kept me from coming home sooner. I must have hurt you all p>
Blaze had found her last year, but she had refused to leave Benjamin. She had brushed off all his attempts to reconnect. Thinking back on it now, she felt a pang of shame.

Blaze shook his head. “The Verdant Bistro is owned by the Hawthorne Group. I don’t have the authority to have their staff throw people out especially someone with Benjamin Forrester’s reputation in the Capital. It must have been an order from the owner p>
He had never met the mysterious heir of the Hawthorne Group, but he recalled his brother Rory mentioning that their little sister had grown close to a driver from the Hawthorne family. Suddenly, he found himself very interested in this driver.
