Finally, I pull out and sit little wolf up. She has a crescent moon pack mark now on the inside of her left wrist. What I didn’t expect was to have three stars show up on my left pec. Must be a white wall thing since she wolves don’t mark their mates. We stare at each other’s marks in awe, both of us feeling each other’s pride, contentment, and euphoria. Bigger than that is the feeling of love in the bond. It is warm and takes over our senses.
We both shift and exit the cave. Ronan starts purring and circling Armana. She presents herself for her alpha wolf and our wolves consummate the bond. Both worthy of each other. It is like a total body orgasm again when Ronan claims Aramana. Except, I am not in my body. I am in the background, lingering.
We make our way through the forest after our, wolves rest up and come out behind the stage again. We shift, kissing and holding each other. We climb into the waing vehicle and to the reception area. outdoor seating with candles and flowers are everywhere. There is a packed dance floor with an open bar and catering tables as far as the eye can see. Bone fires are scattered throughout the couple thousand–foot area. Shifters are laughing, partying and having a good time. Everyone stops when they see our car pull up and get quiet, nticipating the reveal. I love how happy they are for us. I haven’t always been the most pleasant alpha and can be very quiet and laser focused on my work, but I know they still feel the pain I feel after losing my family and little wolf was right to give them this. A gift, a happy ending so to speak in the saga that was my life. am anxious to start a new one with my fated mate.
Ayla does her best to fix her hair in the car over before she decided to unpin it all and let if flow, which is fine by me. I love running my fingers through her long white strands. I exit the car and reach my hand in. She takes it and steps out. We present ourselves to the pack, holding hands and then bringing them up in the air smiling. My bite mark on full display as the shifters bow and show their necks in submission and clapping for us. We make our way down a center aisle to another smaller stage where the elder in the red robe sits, patiently waiting.
“Took you long enough to find her alpha Thane.” James smirks and gests towards me. “No James, that isn’t what took so long.” I smile back, pulling little wolf close to my side as she lowers her head toward the ground trying to hide her blushing.
“Fellow shifters we are ready to start the ceremony. It will be short as you can see alpha Thane was able to prove himself worthy and has claimed his mate Ayla. I understand that alpha would like to say a few words before we proceed. “That is right James, I would.” I turn to little wolf, her eyes wide and I know I will hear about this later, but I have some words for my little wolf.
