Chapter 135
Thane
I would have much rather taken my time worshipping little wolf’s body this morning, than going down to the dungeon to extract answers from this piece of shit before me, but getting the answers is a close second on the list of things I wanted to do. Killing this trash is the only mating gift I need, I have been waiting over a month for these answers and to end this worthless shifter existence,
“Why is he talking now? I ask Cyrus who is standing by the instrument table, cleaning a knife looking feral. “Well, I started to cut out his tongue, hence the blood all over him and he didn’t much like that. I think the torture is finally catching up to his stubborn ass.” I look at the scumbag or warden as little wolf called him and I see a pale, gaunt, starved half there, wannabe alpha and it brings a smile to my face to see him looking so terrible. Little wolf looked terrible too and it was all his fault.
“This is going to go one way. I will ask a question, and you will answer. Lie to me, and I promise your current tortures will feel like unicorns and fucking rainbows compared to what will be inflicted upon you. If you answer correctly, maybe I will let you go or maybe I will end you quick.” I growl out and push my aura towards him, causing him to bare his neck in submission. “Please, please, yes I will. I will answer them. I will answer them.” He sputters and coughs blood toward me. Good thing I am in a black tee and jeans. I wouldn’t want my little wolf to see his blood on me upon returning home. The fact we have a home together makes me so damn happy. I take the second to push intense happiness and love down the bond to her.
“Let’s start with an easy one. How come you kill the girls after a few months?” I ask to see if he will answer a question, I already know that answer to. To see if he is willing to be truthful. “We…we get the order to. Boss doesn’t want the clients to get bored. Doesn’t want the girls to turn us in, so we kill them and dump them on the side of the road.” Just like my sister. Trash to be discarded after she was used up.
“Well done. You didn’t deny it. Second question, why did you keep Ayla for years instead of months? ” “I don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.” he says, and I turn to Cyrus and take the knife from his hand and bring it down into his right thigh. He screams in pain and starts to piss down his leg. “I thought we were telling the truth, but that was a lie. You kept Ayla and I want to know why.” I keep my hand on the knife, ready for him to lie to me again. “Fine, fine, please. The boss made us. He never said to get rid of her. We used her, he whored her out for heats, but nobody could kill her.” I grit my teeth, trying to keep myself from ending him too soon.
“Why did he keep her?” “I don’t know. He said we couldn’t kill her. That he would need her for something. He told me where to get her from. Told us to kill her family so we did.” “That isn’t very useful information. I want a name. I want the name of your boss. The person that ordered her kidnapping. Is he the same one that is over the other rings we have raided? Does he lead them all?” I ask, desperate to end this and get back to little wolf. The thought of what she went through is trying to consume me and I just need to see her. “Same person…we…they are all run by the same boss. He owns them all.” he rasps out, breathing hard and slow. “Name. I want a name.” I demand. “I don’t….I only know his first name.” “Give me the name.” I demand again, growing impatient. “Mikhail..he is an alpha somewhere…lots of money…” he trails off. “Please..please.” he begs, probably for death.
“So, and alpha named Mikhail..I know of none by the way, told you to kill her family and take her and to keep her for ten fucking years in a cage? To rape and abuse for ten damn years?” “Yes, it’s the truth. We did. We could do whatever we wanted. Please believe me.” he pleads with me. “Okay. Did you know what she is? Did he know about her wolf? Did he know what she can do?” I ask. “Yes. He told me. He told me she was a valuable weapon. A meal ticket. It is the reason we had to poison her wolf. We wouldn’t have been able to contain her.” He explains and I believe him. I also am tired of this whole thing. So damn tired of it.

Chapter 136
“Well, I believe you and I have decided to end your suffering. I am feeling quite generous since I just had my mating ceremony. I have a luna now. We had the perfect mating ceremony. Well almost perfect. We were missing her family of course because, you murdered them when you kidnapped her, and we were missing my sister because you used her up and threw her on the side of the road like garbage.” I growl out and see his eyes go wide, realization dawning on him. “You killed my sister, and you kept my fated mate caged for ten damn years. The only reason I don’t continue your torture for eternity is because I want my mate to feel safe in the world and she can’t with you still in it p>
Before he can blink, I shift, tearing my clothes and landing in wolf form. My midnight fur blending in with the shadows of the dungeon. Ronan lunges forward, growling and snarling before ensnaring his throat, sinking his teeth in and ripping it out. The screams are drowned out by squelching sounds. He shakes his head back and forth. wildly while the tearing vessels shower the area in his blood. His head falls back dangling and then completely severs from his torso. I could do this a million times, over and over and it still wouldn’t be comparable to what little wolf endured.
I shift back and stand to my feet. Cyrus starts clapping and I side eye him before grabbing a set of sweats he hands me. “Well, we have a name. Kind of. I honestly can’t think of any alpha around with that name, but maybe this is an out of state thing. Maybe little wolf is from further away than we thought. I am not quite sure she understands where she is now in location to where she was from. I mean, maybe the two aren’t close.” I contemplate and decide I better retrieve some maps to run by little wolf to help narrow down my alpha search.
“Get some guys down here to get rid of his body. I am going to grab some maps and head to my office. I turn and leave with the satisfaction of knowing that my mating gift was dead on the dungeon floor. The best gift I could ever ask for. The ability to avenge my little wolf. Now to figure out who poisoned me and who this Mikhail is while trying to squeeze in a fates knows how long heat.
