Something is wrong, I can’t figure out what it is, but I can feel it. Something is missing from my nest. I scamble in circles, tucking pillows, fixing blanket, straightening my nest, but I can’t figure out what is wrong. My wolf is frustrated, growling and tucking, pacing in circles, growing more agitated by the minute. I look all around, attempting to find what has thrown my sanctuary off balance when a soft purring noise eminates from somewhere behind me. The sound washes over me, calming my senses. It is relaxing and pulling me out of my frustration. I want more of this sound. I turn and find the purring coming from my alpha.
