Chapter 210
*- Omega Bound
I Need a Number 5 And A Pack of Reds.
“Are you sure this will work?” Raven and I have gone back and forth for an hour now trying to produce a plan to get information from her father without it being obvious or coming back to our pack in anyway. We certainly cannot stroll in ourselves. Neither one of us could be disguised well enough. Not by our own doing anyway.
“We get a phone and call my parents. You pretend to be Letisha and sound concerned that you have not heard from me and we see what they say p>
“How do we know that your friend has not called them already. It would give us away. ” I chew on my fingernail.
“Because she died the summer after I met her at the combat training school my parents sent away to. I did not bother telling them because my parents would not have cared anyway. They wanted me to be a Luna but when they deemed, I did not have the personality for it and presented as an Alpha, they sent me away to training and could care less about me afterwards. Their status ticket went down several notches I suppose.” Raven sighs as she plays with the corner of the pillow on my
couch.
“Let us say your father knows the truth. How do we know if your mother does as well? He could have
fed her a lie about what happened to you?” I do not Raven killing her mother for no reason. She is
going to carry the weight of their deaths regardless. Adding innocence into the mix will make it
much more difficult.
“If my father knows, my mother knows. She knows everything about his business and pack business. She’s the Luna’s best friend, and when I was rejected, she just said I was a failure p>
“Wow. Well, you are not a failure, and it sounds like your parents suck. Alright, I’m in. We need to get one of those secret phones so they cannot trace the number back to us. Unless they had a reason to suspect us and trace it. We should not p>
“Stop your worry spiral. It will be fine. Mention that we had a call routine. Monthly check–ins and you let me skip a few and now you are concerned p>
I blow out a breath of air, on board again. “Alright we need to get one of those phones. We have no
cars. Now what p>
“Mind–link Rhonda p>
“No, no way. I’m scarred for life after the last drive with her and for the record that is saying a lot considering what I have been through.” Wait. Did I just crack a joke at the expense of my trauma? Maybe I am still changing.

Fine. You baby sit the pich potato. I will be hack.
Where are you going p>
“ I’m taking Thane’s Ducati p>
“Are you going to get a phone and bring it back p>
“Yes p>
“I wanted to go with you. I’m getting cabin fever cramped up inside plus I have some weird food cravings I need to make happen in my life p>
“Such as p>
“I keep thinking about the gas station pickles in a pouch I saw when I was heading to Pack Clarke with Thane. I have never had one, but apparently, I want one p>
“Do you like pickles p>
“No. I don’t think so p>
“Right…so you want to eat pickles. Fine. I will be back.” Raven reaches down her shirt and pulls out her ‘pouch potato‘ and quickly yanks up the front of my shirt and stuffs the thing into my bra before dropping my shirt and leaving. LEAVING.
“Wait a minute……wait.” She does not wait. No, she shuts the door. I pull the collar of my sweatshirt out and peer down at the little thing and it promptly hisses. As large as my breasts have grown since becoming pregnant, this thing will probably suffocate. Or at the very least be squished like a
pancake.
At least Thane will be happy. I grab my phone and place it over the hole and take a photo for him and send it. Not that I want to interrupt his video meeting, which is majorly important, but dang this is so cute. He quickly replies.
Thane: I am letting Ronan eat that thing.
Me: You can’t. I just helped bottle feed it.
Thane: I feel like every day I am alive just gets weirder.
Me: Agreed.
Thirty minutes later Raven pulls up out front in…. Thane’s SUV? They must have vehicle swapped.
“Hey, are they about done with meeting? I’m curious to hear the new plan.” I ask as I climb into the

passenger seat. Unlike Thane, Raven does not buckle me in. She would probably bite me if I anter
How should I know? ” Raven asks as she starts down the drive.
“ Why is the steering wheel like that?” I noticed there was plastic missing and wires hanging down everywhere.
“I had to find the correct wire to shut the alarm off. ”
“Why didn’t you use the keys? Where are the keys?” I point.
“Wherever Thane normally keeps them I suppose.” I
piece of metal and an air of pliers.
“You didn’t ask Thane for his car, did you? ”
rn toward the back seat and see a long, flat
“You asked me to find a way for you to get a pickle. They are in a video conference. I could either interrupt that or steal his vehicle. I chose the latter p>
“I’m not sure stealing his car for a pickle is worth it for you. ” I suggest, knowing very well my mate I will not be happy about this.
“Then we should think of more illegal shit to do to make it worth it.” Raven wiggles her eyebrows up
and down at me.
1
“No…No we shouldn’t! I do not do illegal. I am the LUNA…it is necessary for me to be the most legal female shifter in the entire pack. ”
“You killed some bitch for trying to take your man.” Raven reminds me and I growl.
“Murder is legal for those reasons. Also, thanks for reminding me to finish reading her diaries p>
“Murder is always legal when you are the Luna, therefore stealing is always legal when you are the Luna…see how this works p>
“Fair point. Fine…pickle, phone, whatever you want to do.” I suggest.
“Phone, whatever I want to do, pickle.” Raven counters.
“Your Luna wants this pickle.” I scowl.
“Fine, we find a station with both p>
“How do I know which one to get? There are a ton of flavors.” I did not realize picking a pickle would be so hard. I snort to myself.

What’s so funny Raven asks, carrying a phone in a plastle container,
“ I’m having trouble picking a pickle.” I snort again.
“Just get one of each. Their pickles. ”
“ I don’t know if I should. This one says hot. I do not want to hurt my pup by lighting my guts on
fire p>
“Then grab them all but that one. I want to get a scratchy and I want to make this call p>
“You are right. Wait, what is a scratchy p>
“Wolf lotto ticket. Your pack doesn’t have those?” She asks, noting the confusion on my face.
“No. OUR pack does not.” I answer as I grab five pickles and head to the counter.
