A reply came shortly after: “I’ve got something to take care of after work, so I’ll be there a bit late. You go ahead first with the invitation. I’ll have Colin drop it off to you p>
Autumn responded: “Alright p>
She put down her phone and continued working.
Soon after, Colin arrived and delivered the invitation.
She took it with a smile, thanked him, and Colin quickly left.
Before long, it was time to get off work.
Autumn drove to the banquet venue, which was being held at a five-star hotel.
She changed into her gown, applied some light makeup, and entered with the invitation in hand.
The place was already full of people, each holding a glass of champagne, chatting in small groups about AI in healthcare.
Autumn didn’t know anyone there, so after entering, she found a spot near the entrance and sat down to wait
for Ethan.
Suddenly, there was a noticeable stir at the entrance.
Autumn looked up and saw Luna walking in arm-in-arm with Julian, followed by Grant and Ryan.
Luna was wearing a smoky gray couture gown, paired with expensive jewelry, sparkling under the lights like a proud princess.
What caught Autumn off guard was that Luna’s gown was the same design as hers, just in a different color.
They were wearing matching dresses.
But what shocked her even more was the set of jewelry on Luna.
It was the one Julian had gifted her when they got married,
She’d heard there were only three sets in the world, priceless and impossible to buy, but she had never worn it.
Because it was a wedding gift from Julian, she thought it was meaningful and kept it stored away.
She never imagined that the treasured set she’d never dared wear would now be on Luna.

In that moment, Autumn realized Julian came home last night just to steal her things and openly let his mistress wear them.
Was he trying to disgust her on purpose?
Sensing someone staring at him, Julian looked in Autumn’s direction.
His brows furrowed slightly.
Why would Autumn be here, at such an important event?
Everyone invited tonight was a prominent figure in the industry.
Seeing Autumn here was definitely unexpected.
Ryan soon spotted Autumn sitting in the corner.
He leaned toward Grant and lowered his voice, “Look at that clingy shadow, Autumn. She’s wearing the same gown as Luna, and she actually managed to follow them here. Not bad p>
“Luna has no idea Autumn exists. She’s always thought Julian was single. If they run into each other, with Autumn’s temper, don’t you think it’ll turn into a battlefield p>
“Hey, Grant, we should try to stop Autumn later. With a crowd like this, we can’t let her make a scene p>
He really thought Autumn was unbearable.
Julian couldn’t do anything without her breathing down his neck.
She was way too controlling.
