Richard was so angry that he nearly gasped for air. Rosanna had made a fool out of him and put the whole Morgan family’s future at risk. Even though he had let her slide before, all he felt now was pure anger and disappointment.

Richard knew full well that only Maia could pull the Morgan family out of trouble now. Rosanna had burned her bridges, and there was no chance she could marry into any respectable family.

But just then, Jarrod came rushing in, having caught wind of what happened. He looked at his mother, who was pale and leaning weakly against the wall, then at his sister Rosanna, her face puffed up and quiet. His angry eyes then locked onto the hefty Axell.

He grabbed an ashtray and swung it hard at Axell’s head… A heavy thump filled the room.
Axell didn’t duck fast enough, and without a single cry, he collapsed, blood pouring from his forehead, quickly spreading into a dark pool on the floor.
The place erupted into chaos, with a socialite shouting, “Jarrod, you’ve killed Axell p>
This shout finally made Jarrod come back to his senses. The ashtray slipped from his grasp as he stumbled back a step.

But it was still too late. Jarrod’s violent act was witnessed by all the guests present.
At that moment, Richard felt completely crushed.
His daughter Rosanna’s name was in tatters, and if Axell died, his son Jarrod would land behind bars for sure!
Thinking about this, Richard suddenly clutched his chest, a sharp pain shooting through him.
He grabbed his chest with his right hand, then everything went dark as he fell hard to the floor.
