Ezra shook his head. “No. We spent the entire night questioning people. One janitor claimed he saw a man in a baseball cap and mask coming down the stairs.
“We traced that route through the cameras and found one key camera with its wires cut. On top of that, the fire destroyed the scene. There was nothing valuable left to examine p>

“Exactly.” Ezra let out a quiet sigh, his brow creased. An order had already come down from above, with a strict deadline. A special task force had been assembled, led by the deputy director, and Ezra had been named deputy leader. Failure to close the

Before long, the car stopped beneath the Skyline City Second Bridge.
