Years later, students from that same program would still remember the fear of being dominated by Joanna.
She completely ruled the leaderboard.
And yet, Joanna herself had no idea how much shock her summoned beasts had caused.
She stepped out of her apartment, waved at Katherine, and immediately applied to move into the villa district.
The process was fast. She secured the right to live in Villa No. 88. All the villas in front had already been taken.
In theory, moving from an apartment to a high-rise, then to a sunroom, and finally to a villa gave someone four extra hours to absorb Dimensional Origin Energy compared to others.
But there was a catch. There were only 200 villas in total. Once they were full, anyone else had to wait until someone was eliminated. That alone caused trouble and conflict.
On top of that, the villa cost 50 credits per day. Only students who were very confident, people who believed they could earn at least 50 credits a day, would move in.
These were the real elites.
On the way to the villa, Joanna checked her basic attributes.

The total increase was 541 attribute points.

Joanna asked Katherine about her gains. Katherine’s increase was indeed higher— about 200 Vitality, 400 Agility, 200 Strength, and 200 Spirit. The numbers were not exact, but it was enough to earn 10 credits.
For someone like Joanna, whose attributes were already very high, the gains were smaller. Her early potential was mostly used up. If she relied only on Dimensional Origin Energy to raise attributes, she would actually lose credits over time.
Thankfully, she still had three contract beasts helping her.
She checked her current credits and froze.

That was more than expected.
Joanna opened the system report and discovered that Nighthowl had been forming teams and helping others earn credits.

At first, Joanna had kept Nighthowl close to help him adapt to the world. When he first appeared, he looked like a tiny puppy, so she had treated him like a baby.
But after more than a month, she understood something clearly. Nighthowl, Alwyn, and even the silly-looking Lucien were all long-living, twisted beasts.
They could handle problems on their own.
Lucien, however, still had issues. His distortion level was high and needed to be calmed with Affinity Points.
The good thing was that calming him also gave extra attribute points.
Still, the three beasts hunted different numbers of monsters. If the calming sessions were uneven, it would not be fair.
So Joanna decided to rotate tasks. Tomorrow, Lucien would go to Skyreach Spire. Nighthowl would head to the arena. Alwyn would run standard dungeons.
While thinking this through, Joanna entered the villa district.

This place was far more luxurious and comfortable than the villas she had stayed in back at Trinity High.
There were gravity training rooms, attribute pressure rings, and other advanced facilities.
There was also a dedicated Dimensional Origin Energy training chamber. The apartment had only one small pod, and she could only lie down inside it.
Here, she could train and grow stronger at the same time.
Even better, the energy gained here was four times that of a normal training pod.
That was the true power of a villa.
The strong only grew stronger.
Joanna entered the training room. She absorbed Dimensional Origin Energy for another two hours, then practiced using the Venomcoil Whip.
The whip required real control. It would stay with her until level 30, so she needed to get used to it early.
Two hours later, her attributes increased by about 1,300 points.
After finishing her training, Joanna left the villa and headed to Dungeon Plaza.
All three summoned beasts were working hard.
She had no intention of slacking off. She entered dungeons, cleared them, and wrote guides.
In one day, Joanna published three guides, all for hard-tier dungeons.
