Two shapes hidden in the darkness finally appeared.
Two giant serpents.
One white. One black.
The Twin Serpents.
They slid into Kayden’s mouth. It made no sense. The serpents were huge, yet they kept entering, as if his body had become a bridge-a living passage.
In the blood mist above his hand, the fleeing Irene suddenly screamed. She threw her head back and opened her mouth wide. A massive snake head burst out.
It kept growing. In seconds, it became a monster more than three feet wide.

David screamed in terror. He had no idea what was happening. In his panic, he let to the ground, her body twitching. The horrible serpent kept getting bigger.
Irene fell
Now more than six feet thick, the giant snake twisted around and charged back at Joanna a the others.
