Once Cedric was officially captured, the bounty hunters handed him over to the courtroom. Joanna’s mission was complete, though she was allowed to follow the trial process in full.
As Cedric was taken away, his eyes still carried a trace of pleading. When he saw Joanna’s cold expression, that pleading twisted into rage, then pure hatred.
If he ever got the chance to kill himself and resurrect, he would definitely look for another chance to take revenge on Joanna.

The hatred in Cedric’s eyes flickered with regret, then sank into deep despair.
He knew his crimes meant a very long sentence this time.
