Nighthowl’s features were like God’s most perfect creation, as divine as the sacred itself, and impossible to profane.
Yet around his slender, elegant neck sat a collar that concealed his Adam’s apple, making him appear somehow caged.
Because the equipment he wore was armor designed for summoned beasts, able to shift with the beast’s body, when Nighthowl transformed into human form, the armor shifted along with him.
For beasts, the main defensive areas were the back and waist, and wolves naturally protected their soft underbellies.
After transforming into human form, the armor covered his spine and clasped at his shoulders, yet left his chest and chiseled eight-pack abs fully exposed.
Fortunately, the armor treated his upper thighs as the waist and abdomen area, covering his impressive lower body, though it left an opening at the tailbone where a fluffy tail emerged.
A pair of boots covered his legs, reminiscent of Auric Wolf’s, and his hands bore sharp blades as well.
These also came from the four claw pieces that Jacob had given him.
He looked utterly wild, yet radiated raw power.
The people around him gasped in shock as they witnessed his transformation.
“So he’s a Druid? Not a summoned beast p>

“Everyone watch your fire, don’t hit Nighthowl p>
Cheers erupted from the crowd.
At that moment, Nighthowl also received a notification.

Nighthowl’s pupils dilated in shock. Was he really a thousand-year-old wolf?
But his contracted companion called him baby.
Whatever. Nighthowl locked his gaze onto the Death Necromancer and attacked ferociously.
The Death Necromancer was indeed powerful, battling them for a full three hours.
The human players who had died around them numbered in the thousands.

Once transformed into the Death Necromancer’s skeleton army, those thousands of players exploded into bone detonations when they died again.
Everyone who had gathered to watch was now terrified, too scared to step forward. Only Nighthowl continued to engage the enemy.
Although he was officially Level 5, his true strength was far beyond that of a Level 5 summoned beast, which was why he could still hold his own.
If only he could power up a bit more. Or if his contracted companion would comfort him again, his strength could increase even further.
Just as he was thinking this, the crystal in the village suddenly erupted with brilliant light. The vortex overhead doubled in size, and the space channel upgraded once more.

He had fought tooth and nail for so long.
There was no way he would let anyone else take that from him.
That 20% XP could boost him significantly, and any equipment drops could be sold for money to buy his contracted companion pretty clothes and run more dungeons.
He darted away from the center of the battlefield in a flash.
The Death Necromancer’s aggro was still locked on him, and it naturally wanted him dead.
But the frontline players who had swarmed in-tanks, shield warriors, guardians-blocked its path.

The combat skills forced the Death Necromancer to halt, and its fury shifted to the tank who had taunted it. A single Death Ray put the shield warrior to sleep permanently.
What business did a Level 20 shield warrior have standing in front of a Level 30 Boss?
They had thought the boss was on its last legs, but its desperate counterattack wiped out another group.
However, Level 20 ranged players were far more powerful than the Level 10 rookies from before.
Within minutes, the Death Necromancer’s HP was nearly depleted.

At that moment, a phantom moon appeared at Nighthowl’s brow. A thousand feet above, a massive astral body materialized. A silver beam of annihilation shot down from the sky as if to destroy the world itself.
